01What we store and why
- Theme preference (this website). Your light/dark choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- Sign-in session (Backstage and the map). When you sign in, essential cookies and similar storage keep you signed in and keep the session secure. Without them, signing in doesn't work.
- Map settings (the map app). The map may remember settings like your last view in your browser so it opens usefully next time.
All of the above are strictly necessary for the thing you asked the service to do, or store a preference you chose. None of them track you across other websites.
02What we don't do
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No selling of browsing data.
- No analytics trackers on this website at present. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
03Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential storage will stop sign-in from working; everything public on bndy keeps working without any of it.
